Management

Trevor Davis - General Manager

Trevor is our landscape architect with a clean, substantive design philosophy who joined Canyon Landscaping in 2004 while studying at USU. He creates comprehensive landscape installations and outdoor living spaces. He manages all sales and serves as project manager on new installations. His experience, creativity, and insight are crucial in allowing us to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Michael Cartee - Operations Manager

Cartee is the project manager with extensive experience in the field of landscaping and a passion for skiing.

Tim Jensen - Equipment Manager

With over 25 years of experience in the green industry, Tim is a seasoned expert adept at repairing and maintaining our fleet and equipment. Additionally, Tim serves as our lead equipment operator, with thousands of hours of hands-on experience at the controls of various machinery. His extensive knowledge and skills not only ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment but also contribute to the seamless operation of our landscaping projects.

Kevin McArthur - Service Manager

Kevin oversees scheduling, coordinates work, and trains our field service technicians. He is also our Lead Technician and his decade-plus expertise enables him to masterfully diagnose and repair irrigation systems of any type, size, complexity, or age. He ensures efficient operations and high-quality service delivery for our clients

Andy Prosser - Office Manager

Andy oversees essential tasks including customer scheduling, billing, and collections. With meticulous attention to detail, she ensures seamless project administration and fosters strong client relationships. Additionally, Andy plays a vital role in maintaining team cohesion and accountability among management.

Jesus Suarez - Project Manager

Jesus started with Canyon Landscaping in 2010 and quickly grew into a skilled installer of all scopes of the landscaping trade. Even as a project manager leading large crews on commercial jobs, the guys know the standard is to keep up with Jesus.

BJ Smith - Owner

With 25+ years of hands on experience B.J. is a certified landscape installation and maintenance expert with 20,000+ hours of experience who founded Canyon Landscaping with just $100. He prioritizes building lasting relationships, problem-solving, and leadership.

Carrie Johnson - Administrator

Carrie oversees all facets of administration, finance, and HR for Canyon Landscaping. With an entrepreneurial heart she understands the flexibility required when wearing multiple hats in the small business world.

History

What started as yards and chores became Canyon Landscaping in 1999. The focus of the business was to provide quality, integrity, and value to every project with great products and superior customer service. We started with small landscaping jobs such as a traditional lawn, sprinklers, and planting installation.

Now, over two decades later, we offer both landscape installation and maintenance services in several counties. Canyon currently employs 15-20 full-time employees from March through December with the goal of building a loyal customer base through great service and a superior product.
